Having spent my whole life doing what others wanted me to do, and being what others wanted me to be; saying no to myself and my own dreams so that the people around me, you know, the ones who "loved" me, would be happy, I've finally said, "Screw this!" and have decided that it's high time I pleased myself by following my own dreams.
This is my life. It's my life. It belongs to me and no one else unless I give it away. And I've been doing that a long, long time, so allowing myself to be myself has been a long time coming.
